For the 2020 model year, the Nissan Altima provides a number of updates focused on the vehicle's safety. Known as Nissan Safety Sheild 360, these group of advanced features will make the Altima one of the safest mid-sized sedans on the road. This suite of safety features will be available on the second trim level (SR) and above as standard. On the base S level, Nissan Safety Sheild 360 will be optional.
